Y2L/LADS Mentors and Coaches Training
Cotonou, Benin—The mentors and coaches training was organised by Y2L/LADS in Cotonou, Benin, as part of the New Leadership program.
This strategic initiative aims to equip those who support the next generation to build transformative leadership based on integrity, accountability, and lasting impact.
🎯 Why is this training essential? As Dr Albert Lian Ragoliavo explains, “leadership and governance are key factors in the success of nations. With young people representing more than 50% of the African population, it is urgent to develop strong leaders who are aware of their role and embody values.” 📚
Topics covered in this edition:
-
- The Integrity Paradigm Leadership is not limited to technical skills: it is based first and foremost on the character, ethics, and behaviour of the leader.
- Mental Health & Emotional Healing: An interactive session led by Dr Florence Manyim, highlighting the importance of emotional balance and inner healing in the leadership journey.
- Intergenerational Communication: Understanding and Communicating Effectively with Millennials and Generation Z.
- Community Engagement: Training mentors capable of working in churches, schools, and communities to awaken young people to initiative, leadership, and civic responsibility.
